The Six Subduing Shen. A set of six deities in the Bön pantheon, each of which rescues beings from the realms of hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, humans, demi-gods, and gods. The deities, respectively, are normally listed as: (1) gsang ba ngang ring, (2) mu cho ldem drug, (3) ti sangs rang zhi, (4) gsang ba 'dus pa, (5) lce rgyal bar ti, and (6) ye gshen gtsug phud.
