A translation of the Sanskrit avataṃsaka in the title of an important Great Vehicle sūtra, the standardized translation of which is now phal po che (Pelpoché). The translation rma ga chad (magaché) comes from the earlier translation period in Tibet, and is derived from one of the three meanings of the Sanskrit avataṃsaka. The translation snyan gyi gong rgyan (Nyengyi Gonggyen) is another alternate translation of avataṃsaka from the earlier translation period.
