The Protectors of the Four Lakes. A set of four female deities in the Bön pantheon, found in the retinue of the deity me ri. The protectors are: (1) phya tsa med (who protects the silver lake of gung rgyud), (2) ting tsa med (who protects the turquoise lake of ma pang), (3) rtsal tsa med (who protects the golden lake of la ngag), and (4) rbe tsa med (who protects the iron lake of zom shang).
