Satrig Ersang. One of the four transcendent lords (bder gshegs gtso bzhi), the four main peaceful deities in the Bön tradition. Within this group, sa trig er sangs is called the “great mother” (yum chen), as she gives birth to the world’s beings by coupling with the “father” sangs po 'bum khri. Much like the Buddhist goddess Prajñāpāramitā, she is associated with insight (shes rab) and regarded as the mother of all buddhas.
